MultiTaction Expands its Software Suite with New Control, Guest Access, and AI Capabilities

Des Plaines, IL — [1/29/2026] — MultiTaction today announced major enhancements to the MultiTaction Software Suite, introducing Canvus Console and Canvus Lite, alongside new AI-powered capabilities integrated directly into Canvus. The updates extend Canvus beyond traditional collaboration spaces into operational environments, while making participation easier and intelligence more accessible. 

Canvus Console is a purpose-built touchscreen controller designed for command-and-control environments, including Network Operations Centers (NOCs), Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs), Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), and C4I applications. Available in 13.3" and 15" configurations, it connects using a single Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cable, simplifying installation and reducing complexity in space-constrained control rooms. 

Operators gain streamlined access to essential video wall functions—such as applying layouts, managing content sources, and controlling what appears on displays—while advanced users can transition into the full Canvus collaborative workspace to annotate live feeds and document decisions in real time. 

Canvus Lite expands collaboration beyond the room by allowing guests to join live Canvus sessions instantly from any device. Available across mobile and desktop platforms, Canvus Lite enables participants to scan a QR code and contribute without accounts, downloads, or IT involvement. Built-in guardrails protect session integrity while enabling full content interaction. 

Canvus AI brings intelligence directly into the collaborative canvas, supporting real-time text analysis, document summarization, image generation, handwriting-to-text conversion, and AI-powered personas that simulate diverse stakeholder perspectives—all without leaving the workspace.
